Felted Wool Slippers

I grew up in Chicago where people wear shorts when it’s 50 degrees, 40 degrees is light jacket weather and gloves don’t come out until the temp dips well below freezing. When we moved to Southern California 11 years ago, my husband and I would laugh our asses off at the people here who were wearing gloves, hats and scarves the minute it dipped below 65 degrees. (I am not kidding you. It’s really like that here.) Well, I don’t make fun of those people anymore because I have become one of them. I am…a weather wimp.  Even now it’s 63 outside and I’m sitting in my office in jeans and long-sleeved shirt and am having trouble concentrating because all I can think about is putting on a hoodie and some slippers, which is probably why I fell in love with these slippers when I saw them this morning – hand sewn felted wool with a suede bottom made from reclaimed leather. And, I cannot get over the flower.  These even come in mommy and me sets. You specify size, width and color combo (lots of great colors to choose from) and in 2 weeks you can have some for yourself.

$32 for an adult pair and $55 for a mommy & me set at Lines & Designs.

I love your site. I am the same way. However, I have lived in Houston all my life and I am all about the jacket and sweater in 60 degree weather. LOL.
