Here’s a Fab Find for you, chicas! We can all afford our very own, freakin’ personal assistant! Oh, yeah.
There are several companies in India (cue the Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack now), where you can outsource some daily tasks and more for anywhere from $7 – $25 per hour. They’ll do pretty much anything that does not require physical presence (Has to be legal, though. I know. Total bummer. I was hoping to find an assistant to take over attending cock-fights on my behalf). Think about it…someone to make all of the doctor’s appointments, to get you to send your Aunt a birthday card, to manage your calendar, to do some research for you, to prepare and send out your invoices. They can even blog for you…but I don’t plan on handing that duty over to Raj in Bangalore anytime soon. I’ll be keeping that enjoyable task in-house and on US soil.
I am seriously signing up. Why the hell not?!

I want to give a shout out to my uber-savvy and talented friend, Sally Hogshead (coolest name ever) for bringing this up to me after seeing a desperate Facebook status update lamenting the fact that I did not have a personal assistant.
