I’m thinking about freshening up my daughter’s room decor a bit. I want something low-fuss and easy because I honestly don’t have time for much more than that. I’m intrigued by all of the cool vinyl decals out there – you slap ‘em onto the wall and, voila!, instant room makeover. They’re pretty affordable and I like the non-commital nature. If you get sick of them, rip them off and toss them out (er…I mean ‘upcycle’ them into plarn and macrame yourself a vinyl thong). And, because we live in an earthquake zone if “the big one” strikes I wouldn’t have to worry about art falling off their wall and whackin’ the kids on the head, causing fatal harm.
Although I would probably only use these in Lulu’s room, there are lots of cool stickers out there for even your more formal rooms. Below are some pictures and links to vendors…each has a much broader selection then what I have highlighted below. And you can specify color for most of these too.
This would a cute girls’ room sticker – the swirly bird with letter. You can also get a swirly bird with an entire name.

I have definitely seen these type of stickers over and over and over. Blik is the originator of this style of design. They are almost becoming trite. If you want new innovative designs that are originally hand drawn and are bright and cheerful, visit prestochangodecor.com. They have stickers that fit most genre. More importantly that stickers have several different colors in each sticker.

These are great designs that you picked! I’m seeing a lot of the owl these days and I sure am falling in love with the design as well. Too bad my daughter cannot be swayed, she still likes princess designs.
