I was at my hairdresser’s (She so freakin’ rules so I will give her a shout out – Rita at Salon 359 in Newport Beach!) today and I think I learned about 5 new things that I’ll end up blogging about but the one topic I’m choosing for today is the handbag designs of Laura Matthews. Another Orange County working mom, Laura has designed an amazing line of handbags. I love this green patent lambskin clutch above for spring. It’s thin and long (get your mind out of the gutter, I am talking about the purse!) and I just LOVE the butterfly on both sides at the top. It also comes in yellow and in fuschia and costs $200…Not cheap, but maybe you can squeeze it out of your hubby/significant other/partner/boy toy for Valentine’s Day. Start laying the groundwork now…dropping hints at opportune times…you know, like after doing ‘it’. “Yeah, Baby, that was great. You know what else is great? A Laura Matthews Designs green patent leather lambskin clutch with butterfly embellishments.” If you talk fast you’ll get that entire sentence out before he starts snoring.
