In case you are even thinking of not voting, here’s a list of reasons why you should:
- It’s one of the greatest rights we have as Americans – a right many people in the world only dream about.
- This is a truly historic election and you need to be able to tell your grandchildren about it and about who you voted for. Be a part of history!
- Everybody’s doin’ it…You know you want to…Go ahead…try it.
- Vote as a way of celebrating the end of this painfully long 24-month presidential election campaign season.
- And as if those reasons weren’t good enough for you, this is definitely the clincher. On election day, if you voted, Starbucks will give you a free brewed coffee, Krispy Kreme will give you a star-shaped doughnut with red, white and blue sprinkles and Ben and Jerry’s will scoop you a free ice cream (from 5pm -8pm). Now, if that’s not motivating I just don’t know what is.
